Vixie.art ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

You can use Vixie.art without creating an account. If you choose to sign in, we collect:

• Email address — used to send your one-time login code and for account recovery. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
• Device identifier — a unique ID generated on your device, used to track your credit balance and transformation history before and after account creation.

Images You Upload

• Images you submit for transformation are uploaded to our secure storage (Storj) and sent to our GPU servers for processing.
• Input images are automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload.
• Generated output images are stored in your gallery and retained until you delete them or close your account.

Usage Data

• Anonymised usage statistics (styles used, transformation counts) to help us improve the service.
• Standard server logs (IP address, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention, retained for up to 30 days.

Payment Information

We do not store your card details. Payments are handled directly by Chargebee (card) and NOWPayments (crypto), both of which are PCI-DSS compliant. We receive only a confirmation of payment and the diamond pack purchased.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process your image transformations and return results to you.
• To manage your credit (diamond) balance and transaction history.
• To authenticate you via one-time email code when you sign in.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• To improve the quality and performance of our AI models and service features.

3. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your images to train AI models.
• We do not collect browsing history, data from other tabs, or any information outside of the Service.
• We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate Vixie.art:

• Storj — decentralised cloud storage for images.
• Railway — API hosting and managed PostgreSQL database.
• Vercel — frontend hosting.
• Chargebee / Stripe — card payment processing.
• NOWPayments — cryptocurrency payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (OTP codes).

Each of these services processes only the data necessary to perform their function and is bound by their own privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

• Input images: deleted automatically within 24 hours.
• Output images: retained in your gallery until you delete them.
• Account data: retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
• Server logs: retained for up to 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability (export of your gallery).

7. Children's Privacy

Vixie.art is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Service, please contact us and we will delete their data promptly.

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Images are stored on Storj's decentralised infrastructure. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
